Tad: The Lost Explorer is an enjoyable animated adventure movie filled with action and humor that the whole family can enjoy. The 3D effects are about average for this type of film but add an extra layer of fun to the movie. Cheech Marin's character provides the most amount of laughs, and the dts-MA 5.1 soundtrack is decent with surround sound effects. However, the LFE department is a little weak. The movie is formulaic but still worth adding to your 3D collection.
