It can be used for household and automobile purposes. It does not have a LoZ function, measuring capacitance only up to 200 microfarad, which makes it unsuitable for testing run capacitors. A hard case for the meter can be purchased separately. It is also recommended to use a battery load tester to correctly test a battery, although the meter can measure voltage-only for AGM batteries. Reviews for this multimeter are mixed; some users found it inaccurate or received defective units, while others found it to be a great value for the price. It can shut off too soon and may accidentally switch to a different measurement if the button is pushed. However, some users with a background in electrical work found it to be as accurate and as good as more expensive models.
