However, it is important to grease the pan well to prevent sticking. The pan is not coated with one of the newer safe non-stick coatings. Color can affect baking, with darker pans absorbing more heat. The pan is PTFE-coated and does contain PTFE. It measures 14 1/2 inches in diameter with the flange. These pans do not nest or fit inside one another when storing. Overall, they are highly recommended for their baking performance.
