DigiTech Distortion & Overdrive DOD-MEATBOX Editorial Review
Digitech DOD Meatbox is a bass effects pedal that adds a lower octave to your bass sound for an incredible low-end performance. Many musicians have praised its ability to produce heavy, organ-like bass notes effortlessly, particularly propping it up in genres like hip-hop and techno. Users highlighted the need for some adjustments initially, especially when routing the signal for optimal results. The construction has garnered mixed reviews, with some finding it solid while others mention it feels cheap. Many appreciate its efficient tracking at lower notes compared to other models like the OC-2, making it a favored choice among performers for live gigs and recording sessions. Still, some critiques focus on its performance at higher registers.
