The OPTIWEB coating is the thinnest of all three options, leaving the strings feeling more natural and preserving the bright tone. The Nanoweb coating, with a moderate coating, provides balanced tone and sound quality, whereas the Polyweb, with the thickest coating, offers ultimate long life and softer sounds. However, Polywebs are not quite as loud and high-note sounding as the other two options.
