It is ideal for cleaning socketed ICs, enhancing stereo connections, and improving the connection between 1/4" jacks for a headphone extension cable. It can also be used for automobile instrument clusters. The G100L-2C is best used when the connectors being cleaned are gold plated. However, the standard D100L would be ideal if the connectors are not gold-plated.
