Attack on Titan: The Movie - Part 1 is a live-action adaptation of the popular anime series. This movie is enjoyable, though it does diverge from the original storyline to some degree. The acting is decent, and the quality of the footage is pretty good. The action sequences and special effects are well done. However, there are some inConsistencies with the characters that might bother avid anime fans. The second disc has very poor English dubbing, so it's hard to understand the dialogues. The subtitles in the second disc are inaccurate, making it difficult to follow the story. While the packaging of the DVDs is neat, the first disc sits on top of the second without protection, which might be inconvenient for some viewers.
