HTC Headsets 99HARJ000-00 Editorial Review
HTC Vive Pro Eye Virtual Reality System offers advanced Precision Eye Tracking and is designed to enhance gaming and simulations. Users have praised the system for its intuitive eye tracking calibration, which takes less than 30 seconds, ensuring a comfortable experience. However, it's important to note that the system currently does not support foveated rendering, as confirmed by HTC customer support. While the headset provides a decent resolution of 1440 x 800 and a field of view of 110 degrees, some users noted issues with blurriness in peripheral vision and lens quality compared to competitors like the Oculus Rift. Overall, it seems to be a mixed bag with dedicated support for eye tracking but limitations on foveated rendering.
