However, it is important to note that the substrate will initially cause high ammonia levels and requires extensive water changes in the first few weeks. The individual granules are light and may dislodge easily, and it is slightly more expensive compared to other aqua soils. Nonetheless, it is easy to plant in, does not cause cloudy water, and plants grow very well without the need for fertilisers or CO2. The seller's customer service is excellent, with quick responses to any issues or concerns.
