It is charged by light and glows blue in the dark. The watch unfortunately does not come with a date indicator and the strap length is not ideal, but that can be replaced. The water-resistant marking on the case back is conflicting at 50M or 100M. It comes with two boxes and is a great value for money. The band is a common 20mm leather NATO band. Overall customers love the quality, history, and elegance of this watch.
