- The Sperry Instruments VD6509 Adjustable Non-Contact Voltage Tester is an essential tool for electricians and DIY users, designed for safe and accurate voltage detection from 12 V to 1,000 V AC. This Sperry voltage tester features both audible and 360-degree visual indicators, ensuring you can quickly verify the presence of AC voltage without making physical contact with live wires. The adjustable volt sensor allows for precise sensitivity adjustments, making it ideal for multiple wire applications where precision and safety are crucial. The built-in super bright LED flashlight provides added convenience in low-light environments, while the patented battery self-test feature ensures reliable operation and virtually eliminates false negatives. The fully insulated probe tip and impact-resistant ABS housing, rated to withstand up to 250 lbs of crush force, offer durability and safety on tough jobsites. Applications include testing doorbells, low voltage lighting, security system wires, outlets, circuit breaker panels, and more. The tester operates on a single AAA battery (included), is CAT III 1,000 V/IV 600 V rated, and comes with a pocket clip for portability. This Sperry voltage checker is cETLus listed and CE certified for professional use.
