The Save Phace 3010929 Lens is specifically designed for the GEN Y Models. It is not interchangeable with the Gen X mask due to the differences in the adjustment dials. However, with some modifications, the lens assembly can fit the gen x helmet by gluing the control assembly inside. The lens does not fit the save phace 3010738 metal hed elementary series weld mask, for which the GENX Assembly is recommended. Unfortunately, the battery holder for the save phace SPZ87W 4/9-13 is not sold separately. The lens uses a CR2450 battery, which is user-replaceable and located in the control housing. While it fits well on snap on's extreme face protector series welding helmets, its compatibility with the snap on iron man welding helmet depends on the generation style. The lens includes an auto darkening display for convenience.
