The binder opens flat and stays flat, making it convenient to use. The product comes with inner pockets on both sides for holding loose sheets. It measures around 10.25 x 12.5 x 2 inches and can hold 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. Customers loved the luxurious feel and overall quality of the product. It was well worth the higher cost and made a great gift that was well received. Some customers believed that the craftsmanship could have been better, with the overall look and feel not of the highest order, but added some character.
