The exact dimensions of the liner are 35.25x17.25 and it fits perfectly in a terrarium with a 36x18 bottom. It can also be used for snakes, a leopard gecko or a baby tortoise. The liner eliminates odor and is easy to clean. It is also durable and doesn't roll up or slip. Some customers have even machine washed it, although it can wear the product out. There is an alternative available at Home Depot which is the "Unbranded-Green 6-ft x 8-ft Artificial Grass Rug" which can be cut and fits well in terrariums. However, customers with a 10-gallon tank have found it to be too big.
