How does the inductive clamp work on the Pro871C?

The inductive clamp operates by creating an electromagnetic field around the cable, allowing the Pro871C to detect the signal emitted by the current flowing through the wire. This method is important for tracing non-energized cables as well. It also provides accurate readings in situations where direct connection may not be feasible. Its versatility makes the Pro871C ideal for various applications, from construction sites to home renovations, ensuring that utilities are marked safely.
