    Odpovědět: The proofer offers a temperature range of 21–90°C.
  • otázka: How easy is it to store the proofer?

    Odpovědět: The proofer folds down to just 7cm high for easy storage in drawers or cabinets.
  • otázka: Can this appliance be used for purposes other than bread proving?

    Odpovědět: Yes, it can also slow-cook, ferment yogurt and kombucha, melt chocolate, and prepare soft cheeses.
  • otázka: How long can you leave it on will it be okay to leave on for 3 weeks?

    Odpovědět: Leaving it on for 3 weeks is no Problem. Some recipes, such as black garlic, require this kind of duration.
  • otázka: For proofing dough, what is temperature increments? Can we increase by just 1 Celsius?

    Odpovědět: Yes, the increments in proofing mode is 1° C.
  • otázka: Does it come with a shelf?

    Odpovědět: There are two options. The FP-205 comes with a wire rack that sits on the bottom so that you have one level to work with. The FP-225 comes with both a wire rack that sits on the bottom as well as an accessory shelf so that it has an extra level.
  • otázka: What does 999 hours run time mean?

    Odpovědět: It means that the unit does not switch off automatically and can even be run for weeks at a time.
  • otázka: Does this come with the yoghurt pots please?

    Odpovědět: No, you have to get your own! I use 500ml Weck preserving jars, they're great for making yoghurt in. (They're a bit on expensive side, though). But really, you can use anything, such as jam jars (I think Bonne Maman jars would be really good) or probably even recycled yoghurt pots! Just make sure they've been through the dishwasher to sterilize them first.
  • otázka: Can the humidity be adjusted to make ferments like koji etc.? Also how stable will the temperature keep?

    Odpovědět: The proofer comes with a water tray which allows you to adjust the humidity within the proofer. The proofer holds the temperature also incredibly stable.
  • otázka: Can I use this to make kombucha?

    Odpovědět: Yes, it can be used to make kombucha. The recipe book lists kombucha as a food that can be made with the proofer.
  • otázka: Could anyone tell me how loud this is when running? We live in a very small space and even have to switch off our dehydrator at night as it’s loud!

    Odpovědět: This makes no noise at all when running. You could be standing next to it and not realize that it's on.
  • otázka: Does it make beer?

    Odpovědět: I suppose it could, as the internal temperature could mimic a warm room for fermentation!
  • otázka: Can this be used to dehydrate foods please?

    Odpovědět: No. This lacks the essential fan of a dehydrator used to move warm air around.
