Vintage Trans Am class racing has become increasingly popular in recent years, offering racers the chance to experience close and exciting races, with a touch of nostalgia for the golden era of American road course racing. The iconic Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was one of the standout cars in the former full-scale series, and now Pro-line Racing has beautifully captured its trademark look with the release of the 1971 PRO153530 body. Every detail of the original car has been meticulously recreated, from the aggressive front beak and the ducktail-style rear spoiler, to the legendary shaker hood scoop - no element has been overlooked. The body is made from genuine 0.030 Lexan material, ensuring durability and meeting all VTA class rules.
It comes with a protective overspray film, window masks, and a detailed decal sheet, allowing you to style your Firebird as either a fierce race car or a head-turning street machine. To ensure longevity on the racetrack, the front nose cone is molded separately and can be easily mounted with the included 2mm screws or liquid adhesive. As the front nose cone is the most susceptible to wear and tear during races, an extra one is included for your convenience. Recreating the glory years of American road racing has never been easier with the '71 Trans Am from Pro-line Racing. With a length of 17.87" (454mm), a width of 7.8" (198mm) at the front wheel wells, a width of 8.15" (207mm) at the rear wheel wells, a height of 4.17" (106mm), and a wheelbase of 10.24" (260mm), this clear body is the perfect fit for your VTA class R/C touring car.
