- For moderately to heavily exuding wounds including: surface trauma, cavity wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, venous/arterial leg ulcers, donor sites, post-operative wounds
- Provides a moist wound environment that promotes healing by attracting and retaining moisture at the wound site
- Formulated with silver that has antimicrobial properties that help prevent infection and promote wound closure
- Alginate dressing should be folded or cut to the shape of the wound and applied directly dry. The alginate dressing should then be covered with a suitable moisture-retaining secondary dressing, such as fleece bandages, film bandages, hydrocolloid dressings or foam dressings on the wound.
